Planning Engineer

Responsibility:

• Incorporate subcontractor’s schedule to develop the master project schedule for the execution of the project.
• Prepare progress measurement system and evaluate progress of work using the system.
• Review and analyze schedule performance against baseline and identify slippages and variances.
• Advise percentage progress of work to the commercial team and collaborate with them to advise value of work done for invoicing.
• Prepare project progress report on weekly and monthly basis in full compliance with client’s requirement. This include 90 days look ahead, progress S-curves, manpower histogram and resource utilization charts.
• Evaluate and analyze project critical path highlighting major concerns impacting on the project and propose mitigation measures to project management for consideration.
• Evaluate and incorporate variations and claims into the approved baseline schedule and advise the impacts of claims on the baseline schedule.
• Monitor the performance of sub-contractor and suppliers using agreed progress tracking documents; highlighted concerns and potential delay to project manager as soon as they are discovered.
• Evaluated and prepared accelerated recovery schedule to meet the project schedule completion date in event of slippage.
