Pre-cast concrete blocks that support standard steel tracks. They are used to reduce noise and vibration as the pre-cast track slab blocks are placed on resin pads (4 no per unit), held in place by fixed side and end restraint blocks.

• Side restraints, 0.8 m long, 12 no/day = 9.6 m/day
• Resin pads, 10 no/day = 10.0 m/day
• FST Units, 5 no/day = 10.0 m/day

The above rates were achieved with a 6 man team, but could have been be speeded up by 200 300 % if a works train was available to hoist the units into place. The above was done with a "A" frame and chain hoist.
