Hookup & Commissioning Planner, BP Angola, Greater Plutonio FPSO

START Date:
February, 2006
END Date:
May, 2008

Development of the Level 3 integrated Hook-up,  commissioning and start-up schedule of approx 250,000 manhours. This included all interfaces with Sub-sea and FPSO  mooring activities including riser tie-ins, umbilical tie-ins and flexible riser connections. Developed the POB data using schedule and work pack manhours.

Worked closely with other divisions (Subsea and Drilling) to help produce an overall integrated schedule at level 2 which was used for Project Leadership reviews.

Re-located with the FPSO to Angola, based onshore but with frequent visits offshore to produce mini-schedules for project critical emergent work. To align look-aheads with the main schedule and to keep the OIM and project management team informed of critical path developments.  These visits were also used to check progress and generally review the issues effecting the schedule (POB, space requirements, material logistics etc..).

Production of weekly “Dashboard”type reports including progress tables, KPI data and S-Curves.

The schedule was produced to meet the business targets and reflected the system priorities required to ensure a sequential start-up of the Oil system followed by Gas and Water Injection to the wells.
