  • Supervising the construction of a resort of total cost about 100 million US dollars, consisting of 150 motels, 3 swimming pools, tennis courts, restaurants, cafeterias, cinemas, a great theatre and all other services. Total duration of this project was 26 months of which I was responsible to completion.

The Misr Concrete Development Company Alexandria / Egypt

 

Construction Engineering, Managing and supervising the construction of the following projects:

 

  • A huge hospital considered the best and biggest at the Middle East. The hospital consists of twelve floors containing all medical and surgery departments and covering all medical services. Reinforced concrete constructions on deep piles and raft foundations with modern finishing and of total cost about 150 million US dollars. I was responsible of supervising all construction, electrical, sanitary, water feeding and mechanical works up to completion. In addition I was responsible of studying and offering tenders, inviting subcontractors to submit their offers for tenders, observing costs, accrediting financial payments, controlling stores’ actions for material release and following the schedule program.

 

  • Supervising the construction of 100 governmental primary and high schools of total cost about 100 million US dollars. Reinforced concrete constructions including all electrical works, playgrounds, services and fences.

 

  • A main police station of total cost about 17 million US dollars, consisting of different offices, halls, temporary prisons, and the main jail. The building included all services.

 

  • The Grain Silos at Alexandria harbor under the supervision of an American office "DE LAUREAL ENGINEER Inc." CONSULTING ENGINEERS, of capacity 100,000 tons and total cost about 150 million US dollars, including raft foundations, huge concrete foundations, construction of concrete walls using sliding forms, all service buildings, cars and trains washing stations and balances, charging bags, supervising all electrical and mechanical works, construction of a marine quay including special rails for the wide gantry that delivers grains from a ship to the silos, all internal pavement works, all water lines, electrical and telephone lines, drainage lines, treatment station and a complete firing system.

 

  • A Cotton- Gin under the supervision of the international Bank including units of gin operations, concrete foundations, steel trusses cladded with corrugated sheets, water and electrical feeding, drainage lines, internal pavement works, fences, a high reinforced concrete water tank at height 25 m, capacity 1000 m3 and complete firing system.

 

  • The huge administration buildings at Alexandria (Square) consisting of three large buildings and a garage constructed under the sea water level at a distance of 10 meters. The buildings are constructed on piles then raft foundations, reinforced concrete trusses and constructing 3 commercial banks.

 

  • "Paradise Inn" resort at the most famous gardens of the city, on different levels consisting of villas and including all facilities such as swimming pools, restaurants, squash club, aquarium and health club. The work included planning of green areas all around buildings, constructing stairs between different levels keeping rare trees and plants as original. In addition a wide irrigation system  and  a reinforced concrete water tank of capacity 500 cubic meter feeding it , water feeding lines, electrical and telephone lines, drainage systems, specially designed fencing including all types of finishing.

 

  • The huge Fibran spinning factory covering an area of 40,000 m2, including raft foundations, concrete foundations, concrete arch formed trusses, hanging ceilings and housing and service buildings, energy generation units, central conditioning, drainage and treatment units, electrical works, drainage and feeding lines, internal streets paving, fencing works and observation towers.

 

  • Construction of the reinforced concrete Drinking Water Purification Station of capacity 240,000 m3 per day, consisting of sedimentation bases, filters, purification and treatment stations, feeding and drainage lines, turbines station for raising water to the desired levels.

 

  • A Factory Of Industrial Cleaners consisting of reinforced concrete foundations, constructing steel trusses cladded with corrugated sheets, drainage lines, treatment stations, electrical power station corresponding to the electrical city power.

 

  • Execution of an Elevator Water Tank feeding a wide city.

 

  • Executing the Engineers resort north of the city with all facilities, swimming pools and artificial lakes.

 

  • Complete reinforced concrete works of an electrical power station at a wide dyeing company.

 

  • A Water Purification Station at a wide spinning and weaving company all constructed of reinforced concrete basins.

 

  • A Water Purification Station of a chemical company all constructed of reinforced concrete basins.

Civil Engineer at the Egyptian Navy Army Alexandria / Egypt

 

  • I worked as a supervisor on the mariner works belonging to the Egyptian navy army, mostly constructing Mariner Platforms and Water-Breaks, supervising, controlling and planning, main axis plotting, observing depths while cleaning, controlling the base layer directions and levels, quality control, treatment operations and storage of all concrete blocks of the quay body, observation of blocks being installed by divers and all works to completion including back filling and final concrete works up to fixing ship dolphins.

 

 

Beside my job as a general manager I was responsible of all managerial works in the company main office, studying and offering tenders, inviting subcontractors to submit their offers for tenders, observing costs, accrediting financial payments and controlling stores’ actions for material release. .
