Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Im new to Planning Planet and I just wanted a bit of advice about modifying your project once it has been baselined. I am not too sure of the best way of how to add/delete activities, change budgets etc etc. I understand there is a modify baseline fuction but how does it work and what do you need to do to make it useful for the user?

Andrew,
As long as you have a reason for chaging the baseline such as approved changes to the scope, schedule or budget, you should have an in house process that should guide you on the procedures to be undertaken. If not you may have to record your method of change control.

You would need to ensure that you are able to correctly identify the reasons for the change, and the resultant impact to the project of the change, (also any impacts to safety, quality, testing requirements, and the like). These changes should be recorded in a manner where the information is adequate and visible.
