Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Yep right on the nose.

F9 in P3 is pretty quick and dirty as you just get the answer - eg an updated schedule.

Best method is always to use the Schedule feature as P3 will give you a full report of out of sequence logic, constraints, number of activities, progress etc etc etc. Good practice for keeping tabs on excatly how it came up with the answer you see on the screen.

PS "Time analyse" is the standard name for performing the "Forward / Backwards Time Analysis" calculation of total and free float, exactly as in an IJ network, (Add up your durations based on logic and then go back over yourself to determine float). Sorry if Im telling you to Suck Eggs, but sounded like you didnt know ;¬)
