NEED SOME HELP in developing a PLANNING & PROJECT CONTROL MANUAL. Existing manual with the company is old now and need to refine to suit the competing demands with availability of new softwares and project management standards.
I made d framework, covering following points
1. Introduction Covering roles and responsibilities and KPI’S
2. WBS development, dictionary, integration with orgz structure, responsibility assignment matrix integrated with WBS
3. Schedule Management Plan: How to develop a Schedule in P3/P5/P6. What r d things to be considered while submitting and approving the schedule. More or less a SCHEDULE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM.
4. Cost Management Plan: Cost Management System, Cost Funding, Cost Estimating and Approval of Monthly bills against cost loaded in program
5. Performance Measurement Baselines: Integrated Performance Measurement Baselines with respect to cost and schedule. Development of S-Curves and monitoring & Controlling aspects. To include weightage factors etc.
6. Work Authorization System:
7. Progress Status: Daily/Weekly and Monthly Report Curves including collection of project data and interface with PM and CM.
8. Variance Management & Project Reports
9. Integrated Change Control System
If I had missed out any of the points or if somebody wud like to elaborate the points mentioned above, it wud b highly appreciated.
I shall be obliged, if somebody can share their manual with me, for making systems herein more stronger.
