Planning Team Leader, Mott MacDonald Ltd., South East Electricity Substations Alliance

Current Role:

Planning Team Leader for SEESA (South East Electricity Substation Alliance - JV of National Grid, Mott MacDonald, Skanska and Alstom)

Team consists of 13 planners and senior planners.

Roles and Responsibilites include:

1. Team development, time keeping and work allocation.

2. Responsibility and accountability for the quality of output from the SEESA planning team

3. Peer Reviews to analyse plan integrity and compliance of planners

4. Reporting of team activities including escalation of unresolved project planning issues.

5. Represent the SEESA planning team at Planning meetings and team reviews

6. Construct and detail planning schedules, utilising the prescribed software (P6),  that represent activities required to successfully deliver key project / scheme milestones from concept through to completion. (In accordance with TP146 & TP193)

7. Cost & resource load schedules to reflect accurate phasing.

8. Maintain regular progress reviews and updates, with the appropriate project (s) stakeholders to ensure robust tracking of key milestones.

9. Reporting in accordance with Alliance requirements and advice on corrective action to recover deviations from plan, as appropriate
