M25 Section 2 Managed Motorway J5 to J7 – Sub Agent

SMART motorway scheme for the Highways Agency involving 16km hard shoulder upgrade in conjunction with extensive technology (cameras, signage etc.) to enable ‘all lanes running’ operation.

Ben was responsible for the coordination and planning of all drainage works on the project which included 16km of central reserve drainage requiring complex traffic management to facilitate safe access to the works within one of the country’s busiest sections of motorway. He managed all engineering aspects of the works, ensuring adherence to company health, safety, welfare and environmental procedures. He was involved in value engineering the design, and the deployment of lean techniques to the management of subcontractors and materials.
