  • System administration and management functions (support and troubleshooting) for Novell LAN
  • Create/maintain user configuration to control access rights and allow class interaction with the system
  • Set-up a new Post Office (server) for Microsoft e-mail to communicate with HQ in Singapore
  • Liaison with vendors to purchase new hardware and software

 

Sep/1993 – Nov/1994 Technical Support cum Analyst Programmer
  • Provide PC/LAN support to end-users, as well as administration and maintenance of existing LAN.
  • Develop in-house software applications and user documentations using Microsoft Access
  • Conduct training to end-users on Microsoft Office applications and Microsoft e-mail
  • Assist Senior System Analyst in System Design documentation, recovery and backup procedures
  • Liaison with suppliers to purchase System hardware and software
