Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

As I know

"As built" is the term used for Construction Engineering drawings.

If we use any higher section instead of actual designed section shown in drawing then we have to show that actual section in drawing and submitt it to client.

Example:

If we have to use Plate 25 mm in Structural steel works, but we used Plate 28 due to shortage of Plate 25. Then we indicate Plate 28 mm in drawings because it is as built in construction. That means it is "As built" drawing.

Hope u understand.

As built drawings are the drawings as they are specifically constructed which may vary from the original design for a number of reasons

Hi Hanson

Generally As Built means the date and time that an activity was carried out.

As Recorded would be the same as As Built but not commonly used.

As Planned is the date and time when it was intended to be carried out accoriding to the current programme.
