Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

P6 - (Activity % Complete) is not getting summarized as compare to other columns.

Ameen,

you need to configure your performance % complete either you want it to be base on Duration % complete, unit % complete and only performance % complete will show a summary / roll up figures

Ameen,

Suppose, on a project if Design is 20% , Procurement is 10% and Construction is 5%, Would you expect P6 to show you summary % as 35% ? So, There's this logic why P6 doesn't show Activity % at summary level.

To get overall %, you need to define a common variable among multidisciplinary project activities

Cheers,

That particular column does not appear to summarize since it is called "Activity % Complete" as opposed to "% complete".

If you want the summary you have to choose the percent complete type that you are using (based on duration, cost etc.). So if you are using durations, you need to select the "Duration % Complete" column and that will summarize based on your durations.

Hi Ameen

Activity % summary can be found on the selected percent complete type you assigned for the project (Duration %, Units %), physical % is a different story

If it is cost loaded, check the performance % and cost % or expense %
