Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

I have done the following steps, for giving weightage for WBS Milestone. Kindly guide me, what i have done is correct or not....

I went to WBS Window and insert a column called " EST Weight" and give Weightage for each WBS.....then use WBS Milestones in performance percentage complete to compute........

Is this a correct procedure....Kindly guide me...

Haresh,
That is wrong. Est Weight is used by Top Down Estimation. If you put Est Weight at Activity or WBS and use Top Down Estimation, the units or costs will be distributed according to est weight that specified on Activity or WBS.

For Earned Value using WBS Milestone Percent Complete is to create a Milestone Step which is similar to activity steps.
Milestone Step or WBS Milestone is under WBS Window-> WBS Milestone tab.
Planner needs to create a WBS Milestone step and EV will be calculated according to Milestone steps created.
