Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi All,

I have just taken over somebody elses plan for a framework agreement with lots of seperate jobs contained within. I am looking for the quickest way to move areas of the WBS into other areas. For example;

I am trying to move Job No 1 (Inc all descendants) from "On Hold" in WBS to "Ongoing" in WBS

What is the quickest way to do this? I normally use activity codes but there are 8,000 activities to update.

Kind Regards

Mike

Thanks Khalid, unfortunately I dont have P6 software on this laptop, thats why im stuck on P3. P6 makes it alot easier to transfer WBS as you have also demonstrated above.

Thanks Again

Mike
