Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Dear Sir,
I am using Windows Vista Home Premium as the Operating system and using Primavera 3.1.When I am typing my password and pressing OK, then I am getting the message a serial number could not be locked. Secondly, I want to know that iscan I Import & Export from Primavera in Windows Vista as the Operating system. Because what happening is when I want to Import / Export in Primavera from excel file, then the Primavera software is automatically being closed. Showing Application error,WOWEXEC caused an access violation in Kernel 32.dll at ox76febo8e. Please revert my queries sir as soon as possible.

I’m not quite sure what are the benefits of Service Pack. What I really know is, to fix the debugs of P3 3.1

I installed it in C:\P3WIN\" directory only before, it was giving me problems.

Rajesh,

Where did you install P3 on your Vista machine? I am betting that you installed it in the “C:\Program Files\” directory. P3 cannot work properly in this directory because it needs to write to subdirectories were it is install and Vista does not allow anyone to write to this directory other than the System Administrator (this isn’t strictly true, but essentially correct.)

Re-install P3 in the “C:\P3WIN\” directory where it wants to be installed and Vista will not give you any more problems running P3. Good luck!
