Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Is there a way to increase the number of characters for activity description to make it longer than 46?

I believe the P3/SureTrak DESC limit is 48 characters.

I use log fields if I want to display extra descriptive information. Go into "format-->bars" and set things up so the log text is appended to the activity description.

But you need to keep in-mind that the more you horse around with visual tricks, the higher your maintenance load becomes.

Keep it simple.
