Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Is Suretrak enough weapon to kill most bugs?

Or is a machine gun like Primavera necessary to kill flies?

I’ve been working with Suretrak Project Manager over the last 5 years and I think i’ve got to know it very well. The only reason I haven’t migrated to Primavera is it’s cost.

I’ve noticed that many of the questions people ask about Primavera in this forum, can easily be solved with Suretrak, which leads me to believe many people use a high-end product like Primavera, to perform simple tasks they could effectively achieve with Suretrak.

Please prove me wrong.

Suretrak is a simplified version of P3. As you say, any function in SureTrak are covered by P3 (assumed). But some of the function in P3 is not available in Suretrak.

Anyway, In 2003 Conference, both SureTrak and P3 will no longer available in coming future. The replacement is P3e/c lite. We wait for it. From flat files to system format.
