Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Is it worth enrolling to PMI-SP?

Hi Friends,

Having a Diploma in Fabrication Technology and functioning as Planning Engineer Oil & Gas Upstream projects for the past 06 years, Is it really worth to have PMI-SP (PMI Certified Scheduling proffesional) certification.

Does it make any difference to secure a good job deal in present market scenario.

Thanks in advance.

Dear Sandip,

If you are going to complete in the market for a job, then a certification will assist you in making the short list. After the 7 year mark, it is usually recommended to get certified in order to referesh your information with the standards and make sure that you know the lastest in your field.

Winning the job usually depends on your experience and keeping it depends entirely on you performance.

Good luck,

Samer
