I just printed a very comprehensive booklet (37 pages) from the PEO website (I think???). It was entitled "Over Target Baseline and Over Target Schedule Handbook". It covers the whole process of rebaselining.
The real information resides on pages 15/16. It goes through the options of which variances you want to eliminate. However, it can only do it in summary - owing to the fact that the actual detailed data manipulation process is governed by how your data systems are set-up.
Ive just finished re-baselining two projects......and its very scary indeed, whilst you are "adjusting" the figures. Make sure that you work through the data manipulation process "on paper", before pressing any buttons.
