Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi "M",

I just printed a very comprehensive booklet (37 pages) from the PEO website (I think???). It was entitled "Over Target Baseline and Over Target Schedule Handbook". It covers the whole process of rebaselining.

The real information resides on pages 15/16. It goes through the options of which variances you want to eliminate. However, it can only do it in summary - owing to the fact that the actual detailed data manipulation process is governed by how your data systems are set-up.

I’ve just finished re-baselining two projects......and it’s very scary indeed, whilst you are "adjusting" the figures. Make sure that you work through the data manipulation process "on paper", before pressing any buttons.

BOL.
