Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

I would like to create some graphic reports which the standard functionality of MSP 2003 does not support.
Does anyone know of some kind of add-in or third party software that I can use to create reports based on MSP 2003 scheduling data?
Upgrading to MSP 2007 is not an option for my client.

Thanks!

Hi Patrick,

I know Microsoft have an downloadable add-in that uses PowerPoint and after sounding out a few people Sparrow Technologies might also have an add-in that suits your needs.

I haven’t used either product so I can’t vouch for their capabilities, but if you decide to give one of them a go, let me know if they’re fit for purpose as I may get around to using them if they’re any good.

I want to create "excel" like resource reports with column or line charts but using information directly from the msp schedules. It doesn’t have to be real-time data but the PWA and the standard MSP functionality is simply not enough for me.

Unfortunately, reports supporting animated gifs, dynamic links to obscure websites and upt-to-the-minute stock quotation charts aren’t supported by Project.

That isn’t what you were referring to? Sheesh, help us out here: what specifically do you want to see?
