Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

I have an issue in MS Project where I would like to unlink remaining duration from % complete. It was a function I used quite often in P3 but I cannot find it in MS Project. It is a real issue on construction projects. Any wise men out there who can help? Thanks in advance.

Hi Ian

The Problem with MS is

% Complete = % Time Complete
You Can use % Work Complete
Original Duration in P3 is known as baseline Duration in MS.
And Duration is Actual Duration & Remaining Duration

I Hope this Helps

Use the Autocost Rules and untick the remaining duration & % complete.
