Responsible for the planning and scheduling for the Infrastructure Civils part of the construction of two DMC Plants with a total capacity of 8,000,000 tons per year. This consisted mainly of earthworks, piling, dewatering, Civils, underground pipework, piperack supports, pre-assembled unit support plinths and access roads. This also included supervision of the civil contractor and liaison with Operations and other departments.
INFRASTRUCTURE
Responsible for the on-site planning and scheduling of programs and networks for several contractors, carrying out varying work, in the residential village. This included refurbishment of apartments, electrical upgrades, hot water/potable water and sewage systems, re-roofing, pre-cast concrete, road repairs and concrete and asphalt batching plants.
LOCAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & CONSTRUCTION SUPPORT.
Responsible for liaison with and guidance of local contractors on all matters relating to planning and scheduling. Assisting local contractors in developing schedules particularly with regard to winter work. Training local contractors’ staff on computers and software usage and planning and scheduling. Monitoring man-hours expended to determine proficiency rate. Meet with potential clients to assess requirements to complete tasks.
