Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

What should you highlight on your resume? Your duties, size of the project, level of responsibility, cost of the project, industry of the project, details of the project?

first you have to understand what is a resume

What is a curriculum vitae, or cv.

When to use a cv and when to use a resume.

A resume is ... IMHO like a marketing brochures, marketing materials, meaning when writing a resume: you have to market yourself.

And like any marketing materials it must have the best impression compared to your competitors. It promotes yourself. Who you are, what are the best services that you can offer compared to other competitors.

If you resume attracted a potential employer and call you for an interview, then, you have to be like a salesman. Sell yourself,

A cv is usually use in academic environment. It is formal and the information are usually verifiable by person with higher degree like MBA or PH D.

But in reality, the idiots in hiring services mixed up (resume or cv) the terms to confuse their clients. The only reason is that although the job is in the construction sectors, the word cv will impressed the client more because of the formality.

I hope this will help you Mike.

Thank you,
Scarlett
