Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi,

I’m using the Excel files supplied with P5 to import/export data between Excel & P5.
I manged to export some UDF from Excel to P5 using these sheets, however when I tried to do the same for resource assignment I got errors at the end of process with the following desc.:
Row (all resource assigned act. rows): Invalid Value XoType:1 for column:start_date with XoType:11.

What is wrong?

Regards,
Karim

It’s a primavera solution ID:prim13114.

get there and download the updated excel file (project.xls).

Hi JK,

I don’t actually how to get it, there is no cost account ID in the Resource Assignments sheet.
The only columns found related to the cost are:
BC, AC, RC, price/unit, Rate Type, Cost Units Linked

Where should I put these cost account ID?

Hi karim,

The problem is with the cost account ID being blank. The SDK does not allow for a null value.
Replace the existing Project.xls with the updated version.
