Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

I am working in P5 and have been exploring varainces to baselines. I have a good understanding of how baselines work and I understand that P5 calculates variances to baselines using the early start and finsh dates. Does anyone know if it is possible to calaculate the variances based on the late start & late finsh dates instead?

Hi Rob
There is no direct way.

You can use a workaround - not elegant, but it works. Before you create a BL you move the late dates into UDF (User Defined Fields). Later you can compare with a global change and two more UDF.
Ask your dealer to force Primavera to include the comparison of late BL dates into the standard.
