Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Dear All,

Anyone can help to link P3 with MS Access though ODBC driver.

I remember there is a topic on this subject long time ago but now is no longer available.

Thanks in advance

hi Gillan,

You should have ODBC driver installed to get connected to the Btrieve database (which is the one used by P3). Unfortuantely i am not able to find one for you. Search in the internet for this. Once you have the odbc driver installed, then i think you can connect as normal odbc connections. also, you have to update the data tables after each update you made in P3.

Tools--> Update Data Table

I dont know what is the exact purpose of this for you. But i belive you want to make some programming in MS Access. Anyway, i will suggest import / export to excel (wk1 files) and then making an option in your program to import the data in this excel files to the program. i know its double time job, but i think it is more secure and the data will be up to date. I made some programs before like this way.

hope this will help you.

cheers
