Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Fellow Planners,

Can anyone suggest a good software for tracking changes in P3 current schedule update vs. previous update? (e.g. changes in relationship, original duration, etc.)

Maybe a bit late and not meant as an advertisment, but just to inform you all; The former Primaplan P3 products Flint/Progress and Investigator can still be ( or again be) made available through our company www.wirelessgravity.com.

There are bunch of software available on the market. The one that we use is Analyzer Pro and it seems to be reasonable price for the output.

Primaplan Investigator seems to be pulled off of the market. The web site is gone and Primavera no longer lists them as a possible solution. You have two choices for P3 schedule update comparison software,

Claim Digger (now sold by Primavera) at http://www.primavera.com/products/claim_digger.html or,
Schedule Analyzer http://www.ronwinterconsulting.com/sa_main.htm.

Good luck!

A number of software solutions are available. The P3 website lists its partners. Check the following http://www.primavera.com/partners/partners.html
A company called Primaplan offers some fairly cheap database comparison software, but there are quite a few.
