Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Situation 3:

In an updated program when we ask for the reason of overall delay of 2 months;
Contractor version - equipment delay is having more impact
PMC version - concurrent delay - but structure delay is dominant.

In order to check the equipment activity was updated with 100% (case 1: with original program start & finish date) and (case 2: with the cut off date as the finish date, start date=cut off date-OD).In both the cases the structural delays remain same.

When we do such excercise to check which activity(s) is having major impact on other, what date is to be considered for the particular activity (here eqpt){whether the planned dates or the cut off date as finish date} as the other activities in the program are updated as of cut off date.
