Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

OK, so we had this problem importing XML files into P6 and it stumped us for a while. It turns out it was a bug in P6 Professional version 18.8 and there is a patch to fix it http://ed.gr/blcwh

I hope this helps other folks that have been struggling with this.

Following on from this regarding issues importing Microsoft Project XML files in to Primavera P6 version 18, you may be still having problems even after the patch 18.8.8. Oracle has now released a 2nd fix (18.8.9) for this bug that was introducedin the last fix  http://ed.gr/bmgub
