Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi All,

I have set up a Project Portfolio containing three projects. The problem is all the other nodes are still showing, making it difficult to find my projects.

How can I set it up so that only my three projects are displayed?

Thanks very much

Dave

Yes, I select, File, Open, then my Portfolio. But it shows my three projects and all the nodes/bands of every other project as well.

I was expecting that it would just the three projects from my portfolio and nothing else

you can only filter for one portfolio at a time so it will so show up in each portfolio that you select sepeately

I do not know what you are trinng to do but you can also assign a project status to a project then filter for the staus of the projects

What do you do if one project belongs to several portfolios?

so I assume that you have assigned one or more project to a portfolio that was there or a new portfolio that you have created.

So you have assigned the project to the portfoilio of your choice

THe trick to seeing only the projects in the portfolio is to select file then open

then at the top in the drop down instead of all project select your portfolio and only the projects that you hjave assigned to the portfolio will be displayed.

think of it as another way to filter but at the project level based on portfolios
