Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi

I was wondering if it was possible to insert a page break before converting to PDF.

Currently my schedule runs over 4 A3 pages but the pages are split in the middle of the WBS.

in one case the Heading of one WBS is at the bottom of the page with the first task appearing at the top of the next page.

Is it possible to set a custom page break on the scheudle or print before converting to PDF.

Any help very much appreciated.

Regards

Eoin

grouping is used to group and organize your activities

also known as banding

In relation to Zoltan suggestion do the FF:

1. Create Activity Codes Similar to your WBS.
2. Assign the Activites accordingly.
3. Use the Group and Sort and organized according to the New Created Act Codes.
4. In the Page Setup .. Options Check the Checkbox Break Page Every Group

Hope this will help

thanks for the reply but could you expand on what you mean when you say grouping?

Where is this option and i will take a look.

the row height is just pianful and too much trial and error.

you would think its a pretty simple thing to implement. like say in excel where you can simply drag a blue line.

PS (not for a second comparing excel to P6 just trying to make a simple point!!!)

if you group by a code or the wbs but do not indent than you can go to print preview

then page setup

then options

then at the bottom check page break on group

other than that you would have to play wiht the row height to get what you want to do.
