Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hello evereyone,

Is there any method by which one can link an activity based on the predecessor's physical % complete in Primavera P6?

Linking SS or FS - is not serving the purpose.

Thanks in advance.

Asta and Spider both have this facility.

Hello Gary,

Thanks for the response.

Are you aware of any other software that can do it?

Nope.

One of Primavera's major failings, this.

The best you can do is SS+lag, with the lag representing the estimated time required to achieve the desired % complete.

Other alternative is to split the predecesor activity into 2, and use FS links
