Import P3 Basline/ Target in MSP2003

Damien,

a) I would export both the P3 schedule and the target data to wk1 or dbf files (wk1 files do not accomodate more than 2500 rows)

b) Then save a blank MS Project file as Excel worksheet with all the necessary fields (see: export map in the online help if necessary)

c) Then open the wk1 or dbf files with Excel

d) Then carefully paste the date from these files to the template created in b)

e) Then open the Excel file in MS Project

f) Cross fingers as much as necessary

Nota Bene: I hope that your P3 scheduling options are MS Project compatible (constraints, ...)

Tell me if it worked well when you are finished

Alexandre

I know nothing of how P3 exports data so that it can be imported by MSPrj.

Perhaps you could begin by telling me the process and describing the file exported by P3.
