Since May’06 with Turner Construction International LLC, Dubai, UAE as Senior Project Controls Engineer

Projects: Dubai Maritime City (DMC): The proposed development is planned as a world class facility to service the global maritime community, includes facilities such as ship lifts, repair yards, maritime commercial centers, educational institutions, shipping, hotels, residential and office complexes, marina, ferry, harbor berthing facilities and Utilities area (district cooling plants , sewage treatment plant, industrial waste water treatment plant, substations…etc).The total development is around 20 billions AED over 2,830,000 m2 .

I am a member of Turner core team responsible for managing the project, handling eight packages with value of 1.5 billions AED starting from the concept design up to handing over to the end user. The packages include steel structures workshops, utilities, infrastructure services, landscaping and road works.

Duties & Responsibilities:

¤     Updating the overall Master Program.
¤     Compiling and preparing Client monthly report and presentation.
¤     Preparing Client weekly executive reports.
¤     Development of the communication system including: documents control forms, communication flow charts and reporting templates.
¤     Advice the Employer of the time impact of the potential change orders.
¤     Prepare KPIs for the planned, contract and actual packages durations.
¤     Review/Approval of the Contractors’/Consultants’ Baseline Programs and any further revisions.
¤     Review the progress reports by the Design/Supervision Consultants and Contractors.
¤     Assessment of the Extension of Time Claims and related cost
¤     Prepare the procurement strategies for each package.
¤     Identify the delays and provide the recovery measures to deliver the project packages on time.
