Best standardized file structure for schedulers, scheduling, schedules for construction. - how is yours?
Morning all,
I have a schedule and I'm creating another but I need to copy a section of WBS across both using the same ID's. I wouldn't think this a problem as they're different project IDs but P6 keeps renumbering them.
Any ideas if this can be stopped so it keeps the same IDs in both schedules?

Suppose plan has been created and baselined. Actual data has also been entered.
Now, I realize one particular activity had its start/finish date entered very wrong. Is there a way now to change those planned dates?

I understand purpose of having baseline - it is used for comparing actual data with original data.
However, I tried this and found out that Primavera maintains baseline data even if we did not create it.

I exported a resource assignement excel file to change budgeted units and other data, when importing the resource is doubled (as shown in the attched image) , i recalculated the assignement costs , but still i will have to manualy remove the doubled resource and this will be a tediuos process as there is a lot of af activities .
Hope to find a fix to this problem.

I have Primavera EPPM installed on a test server. I have created an EPS, OBS, and user security privileges on the test server. When my IT department moves me to the ‘live’ (or some call it a production) environment.
Can I copy the work I created in the test environment to the production environment?
I don’t want to perform rework when we move to the live server.
Hello Everyone,
I would like to make a S Curve in Primavera which shows Planned, Actual and Forecast S Curve.
The basis of S Curve to be manhours / Week.
Can S Curve in Primavera show % Planned per week as Lables like in Excel.
I want to calculate the S Curve which shows end of the Week Palnned % and Actuals (Not start)
Please guide me.

My users are informing me that schedule changes they are making are occasionally not showing up the next time they log into P6. This includes status updates, activity code changes, and activity deletions.
This has been more prevalent since our upgrade to P6 18.8.5
Anyone else having these issues?
