I would like to develop a Schedule for Cable Fire Proofing incl. trays (Intumescent FireProofing cable coating)

Please let me know,

1. What kind of actvities involved in this particlualr work ?

2. What are the Constrains to be started this work ?

Planning Procedure Manual

Hi all,

I have recently started at a new company that isn't very au fait with planning or planning procedures. Low and behold it has fallen on me to write a planning procedures manual!

Does anyone have one or anything I can read as a helping hand? I'm not really sure where to start

1 Project - 2 Contractor - Import of Data

Hello Everyone,

The situation is I am the Client Planning Engineer for a "Building Project". I have 2 Subcontractors Civil Contractor and MEP Contractor and they have prepared the baseline schedule.

Testing and Commissioning Labour

Hello, 

 

i just produced a labour histogram for the testing and commissioning labour histograme, basically, i apply 1 manday to each testing and commissiioning activities. 

The natural of the project is refurbishment, fit-out, plantrooms and testing and commssioning. 

The peak TOTAL labour resources is about 110 labour. 

the peak of my testing and commissioning labour is about 18 men

Does it sounds right, too high? or just ok?

Producing Reports from P6

  Good Morning All I am using P6 v16.2 I cannot get a report out of it formatted as I want it to be, it is a simple report showing planned units for labour and materials, when I export to excelas an xls file the data on each line is one long line of text, why?

Overall Weightage by Cost

Hello Everyone,

Need Help.

I saw a schedule in which the Progress is weighed by Cost.

Each activity under each WBS has a cost. So everytime it is updated the WBS shows the % Planned and % Actual.

Overall it shows % Completed based on Cost.

So how can it be set up ?
