And the sum up on wbs level with wrong value.

PLease explain why some data imported from excel file cannot be read in P6.
What is the reason. How P6 read or store data?
What are the things that should be done to the data in order for us to succesfully import to P6.

I'm a planner in the UK, and been working as a planner for just over 2 years in few different rail projects.
and one of the main challenges is that most of the engineers were NOT reading the P6 PDF programmes,
even if they did, they really didn't pay attention to the details.
First question:
Can either Project or Primavera show phases of a project in a single line on the Gantt Chart? My internet research shows a waterfall arrangement from the images and videos.
ALL-
After series of delays in the project that i'v been working on, the client ask for a re-baseline of the planning. I'm wondering if i could re-baseline with actual progress and submit it as the new baseline of the project. Or, should i remove all actual progress and start all over to match actual dates and then submit it clear of any progress.

Hello all,
I have leveled 2 resources in a simple programme.
After levelling,the commencment of their associated activities are being delayed by 2 years from the data date.
I cannot see any other incriminating features of these activities:
- there are no constraints associated with these activities where these resources are assigned
- the resource and activity calendars are aligned
- the resource levelling and scheduling settings are completely blank, i.e. there are no unusual settings turned on.
WTF ?!?
Construction Delay Analysis
No doubt; one of the major reasons for the construction delay is delays in engineering. As prevention is better than cure, I do believe that “Setting up robust engineering planning and monitoring” and “on-time clear communication of delay” are crucial to protect the project. How can you make the bars on the Ghant Chart Deeper (More Width) I can get the rows in the columns bigger but not the bars on the Ghant Chart, surely this can be done for large presentations?
