Missing indent and levels from Group by

Hi All, first time poster.

I have done something to my current project today so that now I can't Group By WBS. The option to indent has gone and I can't select levels anymore. This has happened today some time and I have no idea what I've done. I'm hoping it's some kind of setting I've inadvertantly changed. Any help would be much appreciated.

Global change not working for baseline programme

I am aware of the need to change the planned start and planned finish of a baseline programme before attaching it to the programme that I am usuing to demonstrate a delay.

However in certain instances the planned dates are not being changed. ie an activity in progress with and actual start of the 30 May 2018 and a finish of the 3 Dec 2018 after running the global change to set the planned dates gives a planned start of the 30 May 2018 but a finish of the 30 Nov 2018 and not the 3 Dec 2018.

Remaining Units not calculating - why?

Hi,

I'm back using P6 after a few years off and have been tasked with creating a resource histogram that shows the remaining hours.

Each time I run the report it is showing me the remaining actual units and not the remaining to earn.

eg.

Budget = 240, % Comp = 95%, Actuals = 210, Earned = 228

When I run the report it should tell me I have 12 hrs left remaining, however it says I have 30 hrs left.

I have my activities set up as Task Dependant, Fixed Duration & Units & Physical % Complete.

Any ideas?

WBS not in correct hierarchy order after MSP import

Hi all,

I am currently collecting vendor plans which are mostly in MSP. I have have saved them as a XML and imported them into P6. However, for some reason the WBS heirarchy is being reordered in P6 which is effecting the activities view.

For example in the WBS it is ordered as

Report - Manhours Planned Vs Actual

I am looking for report which can Show me Planned Manhours (As per Basline) and Earner Manhours (After Updating the Schedule) and Remianing Manhours (After Updating the Schedule) in Time Distributed Format like below,

Lag and Original Duration

I need to have an excel spreadsheet that lists all activities original duraion as well as lags.

I've tried numerous was of P6 exporting to excel, filtering/formatting within P6 to copy and paste in excel, but am unable to find a way to get both the original durations and lags on one spreadsheet.

Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!
