I am attempting to make a filter for a 2 week look ahead that shows the tasks and bars that are scheduled to be worked on during the 2 weeks.   They may be start dates that equal the dd+2 weeks or in progress tasks or ones with resume dates that match the dd+2 weeks.  I seem be able to use these in the filter but end up lossing some tasks  or gaining some while rearranging the filter.

The Inprogress tasks seem to be the ones that add the task bar outside the 2 week window.  Anyone out there got the secret formula or the easter egg.

MSP XML file will not import to P6 despite being correctly formatted

Hi all,

I'm really hoping someone can help.

I have managed to import several msp files (after converting them to xml) into P6 Professional 16.2 (EPPM). However, I've got four project files that just will not import. It gets to 50% and then drops out. Error message "job did not complete successfully".

There are no blank cells or links to summary bars in the msp files. The WBS has been correctly formatted and does not contain any gaps. The project summary bar is switched off and all of the projects have been properly aligned.

How to Get Project Percent Complete

Good day,

I have just made a new revised program for the project 

I have added new activities and loaded the material resources for the remaining activities (Concrete).

How I can calculate the project percent complete?? depending on what?

how P6 is calculating the schedule % complete and units % complete? 

when i roll up for all the project it gives a schedule % complete ?? is this accurate or what?

Adding price for activities in order to get a cash flow

Hello,

In my schedule, I didn't add any resources except for some materials.

Now I need cash flow for the project (revenue) on a monthly basis, how I can add prices for the activities ???

I have added the materials in order to get material usage on a weekly, monthly basis. 

I didn't add the labor resources because most of the works are subcontracted.

XML Import to P6 - Durations affected

I've saved an MSP file as XML for importing to P6, but after Import many of the activity durations and dates have changed. Some increasing by over 60 days. However I also can't seem to change any of the durations, I was hoping I could manually run through and change the durations, but I either get 'Planned Finish Date cannot be earlier than Planned Start Date' or 'Remain Finish Date cannot be earlier than Remain Start Date' error message. I've also tried changing the 'Link Budget and At completion for Not started activities' option.

What am I doing wrong?

Primavera 18.8 Configuration with Weblogic Server

Hi

I am woriking on windows 2016 server (Windows instance on oracle cloud), trying to install EPPM 18.8. To create this environment I need to JAVA SDK, Oracle Weblogic Server, SQL Server 2017 (database server) along with EPPM 18.8 modules. 

I am using weblogic server 12.2.1.3.0 which is causing a problem with Node Manager, whenever I start P6 services from the weblogic server admin portion, it shows errror
