Late dates showing for some completed activities but not others? Why would this be?  My assumption would be there is someting un-completed in the chain but that is not checking out.  Not the biggest problem, but makes me think something is wrong.

Importing excel dates- changing the 00:00 to 17:00

Importing excel dates- changing the 00:00 to 17:00 .  The odd thing is when you look at the excel "bar" it shows 5/16/2018 12:00:00.  I have had schedule effected by the "hours" so i want it 5pm or 17:00.  I tried replace but there was no excel option with the date and time and am/pm.  I am not a big fan of the way P6 "always secretly includes hours", seems like P3 was easier.  I was watching a planacademy video about it and sometimes he changed the time and sometimes he did not - strange.  I have given up changing it automatically with replace all in excel, ma

Hide Non-working days in P6

 

Hello, 

Can i know if there is a way to hide the non working days using P6? For example

 

  • Working day = Monday to Friday
  • Saturday and Sunday are not working day 

 

Activity A F/S Link to Activity B. 

Activity A finish on Friday.

Activity B start on Monday because Saturday and Sunday are non-working day.

Imported XER showing as 4 separate items in the EPS

Afternoon all,

I've been sent an XER file of a single plan, yet once the import is complete it's showing as 4 separate items in the enterprise screen.  Open one and they all open, try to delete one and all go.  It's behaving as one but appearing as 4. 

Anyone got any ideas? Nearly 20 years of Primavera and I've not seen this before.

WBS description into Activity Description- Global change

Hi,

I am generating a engineering schedule. Our Client has asked to present schedule that it lists the control gates under each WBS.

I have listed the Deliverables at WBS level and would like to have the WBS name concatnated with the Activity Description.

For EX. P&IDs -- WBS Level

            P&IDs - IFR - Activity Level

            P&IDs - Receive Comments - Activity Level  so on for other control gate

Resource / Cost Loading Questions

Hello I have two issues:

1. When exporting an Excel to add resources and costs - I need to add add multiple resources or cost values for one activity - I cant get a worksheet that gives me a row per resource. Is this possible?

2. Where I have resources e.g. say Install Concrete has Units 100, if actual units are 45 (45% complete); then why wouldn't remaining units be 55? How is this supposed to calculate.
