A
Ahmad uzair 👤 Member for 13 years 2 months

Hi all,

I have a building project in prima vera Orcale R8.1. I have resources of labour,Mason,Steel fixer.I know their average consumption per hour like for example, labour takes 3cft/hr for excavation.

My problem is that how do implement this data in my resources ? if my area to excavate is 500cft then my duration will be 20 days (8 hr/day). Now what will be my budgeted units and planned units in this

Please help me.

Primavera V8.4 Out of Bounds error

I am trying to link 2 simple activities together on a straight "FS" relationship, the problem I am getting is that the following error comes up. I have tried copying the program, Export / Import, and even delete / re-create the activities (which are in different WBS's), but still have the same issue with these two activities. Is anyone able to explain it, as a lot of the other re-sequencing I have done around them has worked successfully.

Productivity Rate for construction activities

Hi All,

I looking for a productivity rate I can use for Project Planning like for Concrete volume in cu meter - how many workers required and manhour requirement for formworks, rebar installation and concrete casting.

Can anyone help me.

Thanks.

Vincent.

New Tasks With '0' Float Throughout the Schedule

I am trying to create a test schedule in MS Project 2010.  The problem is that with every new task that I create, there is no float associated with the tasks being entered.  I have tried the following:

1. Moved the Project Start date out six months or more

2. Ensured all of the tasks were linked

3. Added a Deadline Date for the last tasks in the Network

4. Changed all Constraint Types to ASAP

No matter what I have done, there has been minimum to no float in this test schedule.  Can someone tell me what I"m missing on this?

Problem to make Recovery Plan as a new Baseline

Hi Guys,

I prepare a recovery plan from last updated program, i was monitoring the progress based on total Budgeted Cost and all activities were Phisical % type. My project was in delay due to our mistake so i adjust the remaining duration by increasing the productivity and changing some logic. Now i want to use this as a new baseline so which values i have to use. Remaining total Cost or Budgeted total Cost as Planned Value?
