delay and out of sequence TEST

Hello,

I have done a test updating the schedule at a specific data date (last week):

1- Updating without correcting the out of sequence activities----> result: 32 days of delay

2- Updating with correcting the out of sequence -----> result: 10 days of delay.

Question: Do I have the right to make the correction of out of sequence to meet the actual scenario on the site in order to give an accurate data or I should not make any changes in the current schedule.??

Cable pulling

I am looking for advice on output rates for cable pulling. These are internal single core and multicore cables generating from a switch board to various items such as UPS, FANCOIL UNITS, PUMP ROOMS ECT. Can anybody shed some light on  some output rates. For example I have total 10000 metres of multicore cables to  pull. If we assume two pwople gang howmany metres can they pull on a day? Any help will be appreciated

Coronavirus impact on the contractuel finish date

Hello,

As you know the coronavirus has been declared as a pendemic. This will affect most of construction projects and will delay the project finish date.

the question is: How can we evaluate the amount of days to entitle to the contractor. Are we going to insert the activity regarding coronovirus in the last revised baseline and then see the effect on the project finish date? or we do this exercice on the last updated schedule ( but we might have concurrent delay, so it we be difficult to identify the only effect of coronovirus)

EV and PV using cost and hours

Hello,

I noticed that primavera P6, calculate EV and PV only from cost value, what if we want to calculate EV and PV from labour units.

Imagine if we have ressource loaded a schedule with hours and cost, how can we obtain the EV and PV in different point of views cost and hours separetely

EVA

Dear all

I have been asked to produce EVA in P6 on a residential project. I have prepared the schdule. How can i create ASAP &ALAP CURVES.

2. Should my QS give the rates for the works planned. But in residential projects for example I have shown Level 1 Brick Work - 2weeks. should this duration based on sqmtr/gang. 

3. iam confused because in apartment fitout, Electrical installation is for 2 weeks. how will assign cost for this.

need your help...

Hi!

 

I am having a hard time inserting relationships especially in determining which should comes next and what type of relationship I will give the two activities.

I was given a sample but all activities are in summary. Meaning for ex. for 20 areas for excavation, in their given data it is the totallity of all the volume for these 20 areas. For its start and efinish date lets consider jan 1 to june 1, 2020
