I am working in a building constrcution project ( MEP Works ). main Contractor has revised the baseline program due to delay in strctural works. As a MEP contractor how we can analyse to identify what are the changes has been done to base line program.

What are the things to be checked in the new revised program???? . Could any one explain me step by step procedure for analysing the new targeet program.

Revised target program has been made in such a way that

Updating Actual Units and using curve to spread remaining units.

I am using P6, Labour resources, Bell Shaped Curve and fixed Duration & Units to resource load my schedule however, I have now been given Actual spent hours to update some activities.  If I change Duration Type to Fixed to update actual, P6 does not spread my rremaining units.

Is there a way to update Actual units while forecasting my Remaining units.

IDEAL LINK TYPE FOR SUBCONTRACTOR ACTIVITY AND CLEARANCE

100 Rooms in a floor

"paint works" activity starts after clearance from main contractor

each room clearance is expected in different days

The plan is a floorwised one, having one single bar for "paint works " for a floor

how to secify the clearance in the plan?

as a milstone ? as a bar ? what should be the relationships ??

High Level Planning Assignments

K
Ken Barrett 👤 Member for 19 years 1 month

I have a fully resourced schedule completed. I am looking to run a report on the WBS level that will include the WBS name, The Budget for the WBS element, and the planning resources for that WBS element. I can not figure out how you assign a high level planning resource to the actual wbs element so that I can print off a nice report that states who will be the responsible manager/planner and controller for each wbs element

Any Help would be great!!
