P6.8 not importing relationships

M
Meraj Zia 👤 Member for 15 years 5 months

Hi,

In this particular case, P6.8 is not importing any of the relationships between the activities, although the import specs are checked to import them. The projects are being exported from 6.2 version. I will appreciate if someone could guide how to resolve this issue.

Best Regards

Meraj

Accepted Programme

T
TONY SEWELL 👤 Member for 15 years 9 months

I have just had a programme accepted by PM but it is qualified with various wording, one being that a certain activity should link to planned Completion (I should mention that the PM has instructed that works not affecting the opening of the scheme can be de-linked from Planned Completion and completed after - i.e fencing / not convinced he is entitled to do this but we have gone with it as we still get same pre lims).

my problem is that a new Cl32 has been accepted but he says accepted with a load of qualifications, when really he should have just rejected it stating

Earned value on completed activities

Hi,

Im looking at conducting earned value without any sort of formal company proceedure and i thought i would get your opinions?

We have some activities in our schedule that will be actualised even though the work has not been fully completed. This is because it is a rail project and the possessions which have define starts and finishes have to end then (to hand the track back).

Maintaining baselines

R
Rhys Parry 👤 Member for 14 years 9 months

Hello

Just a quick Question regarding baselining my project.

When I schedule my project and then I baseline it with that data date.

If I then update the project plan and schedule it with a new data date and baseline it again is it possible to go back to the previous baseline to see the original plan instead of clicking on Undo if things don't go correct  after I schedule & resource level.

Thanks

Rhys
