Resource loading for multi-level structure with non-typical floors

Hi Guys,

How do you usually do this.

We will build a 3 levels podium RC structure with 2 basement, so over all 5 levels. Each level has a different wall layout plan & floor framing plan, so there will be no levels with the same quantity of material resources. Contruction programme was made, just a typical construction programme, start from lowest level going to upper levels. And also, each level was divided into bays to determine concrete pouring sequence. It is like this:

T
TII WS 👤 Member for 16 years 4 months

Hi,

Need some assistance in buildig up the as built productivity.

I was thinking of classifying under such category as below

Excavation

Bored pile

Pilecap

Raft Slab

Ground beam

Column

Slab

Any idea what unit should I use if I were to build this in relation to resource usage as well. Should I use qty/day, or manday/qty or any other suitable unit ?

Any idea to improve on these? Or should I split further into rebar, formwork, etc

Addition/deletion of activities and relationship changes to updates to an approved programme under NEC3

Hi,

Does anyone know of any provisions for projects managed under NEC3 regarding addition/deletion of activities and relationship changes to an approved programme?

Is there an obligation on the contractor to provide list of added/deleted activities, relationships changed and reasons why?

Thanks.

E.

Transferring of Activity Progress

Hi,

Im having problems on importing activity progress from my "Progress File" to my "Working File". I've tried doing the "P6 to Excel to P6" importing/exporting method.

In the process of exporting my "Progress File" to excel, I called out "Activity % Complete" as part of my excel template. Then, it reflected as "(*) Activty % Complete (%)" on the excel spreadsheet.

Urgent help - Project extraction from baseline

S
siva ganesh 👤 Member for 14 years 6 months

Hello friends,

I have a initial project. And another one i have an updated project.

Now what i did is, in the initial project i added baseline from the option "convert the other project as baseline" and i assigned the updated project as a new baseline.

Unfortunately i deleted the updated project.

Now is there any possible way to extract the updated project which is assigned as baseline 1 to initial project?

Hope u understood my problem.

Kindly help with a way and advise.

Regards,

MSP resource tracking problem, help needed.

B
Bogdan Dinu 👤 Member for 13 years 9 months

Alright,

so I have this new project that started with the planning pretty late so we needed a project plan quickly.

They wanted to track the plan before we got the real resources inplace so I used a fake resource with 2500%.

My problem is,

Exampel at status date:

Act: Build wall | Duration: 32 d | Work: 32 h | Act Work: 0 h | Rem Work: 0 h

Then my projectleader tells me that we already worked 32 hours but we need another 100 to finish the work,

and we still want to finish on 32 days.
