Progress out of sequence

Looking for some insight.

I have three activities A, B, & C. activity B has started and is 5% complete. Activities A & C have finish to finish logic links to B with a 10 day lag.  Activity B then proceeds to another activity, say D, with a finish to start logic link.  Activities A & C have not started. When I run a schedule update the status indicates that I have progress out of sequence (POS) for activity B.  Activity A & C have important output that must be complete before B can be complete. Why the POS?

"critical path" early warning , Total float

Hi folks,

Critical path is the sequences of activities which their Total float is 0. When this sequence is defined, it is already late to take countermeasure,

I need to determine earlier the sequence of activities which would delay the project finish date.

Should I fix a threshold of the total float? How would this sequence be called? , sub critical path , near critical path ?...

Resource histogram

Hello Experts I am struggling with the below scenario and hope one of you can help me out.

I have some plans working on a 7day 7 hour calendar.  If I have a task which only takes 2 hours to do and lets say 3 men to do it, I want to be able to show in my histogram that I want 3 people of a particular trade that day.

I am trying to either use Primavera to show the results or by exporting them to Excel but the results I am getting only show that I want 1 person because it equates a full day to 7 hours and knows I need to get 6 hours of work done.
