I have a schedule on MS Project 2010, and I would like to assign the resources, one of the problems I am facing is that:
I have 6 engineers with their salaries and WF on that project, how to distribute them on the schedule?

Dear Planners,
I am establishing a schedule on MS Project 2010, after finishing the schedule I detected that the start date of the project is not critical, it has 35 days float. Eventhough no constraints applied and no open ends exist.

I am working in P5.I work out program in in my system and import XER to another system. The issue is there is some difference in the labour units. The difference 0.8 times than older value. I have checked the calendar assignment and user preference all are same as in my system. Please advice how to rectify the issue.

can anyone help me to understand why does my actual % complete in P6 r8.2 show a lower value when I attach a baseline to the project?
The baseline is a recovery program of the original plan with the actuals removed.

Hello,
I am updating a project that has activities with multiple resource assigned to them. However, when I update the activity with a new percent complete and actual hours - it does apply the same percent complete to indiviual resources and the actual units does not distribute evenly. Rigt now I have to go into the Resource assignments tab and update indivual resources instead of activities.
Right now am using Fixed Units as my duration type & units percent complete.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What sort of parameter do you use for schedule bechmarking? Even tough documentation and document types are varied industry to industry , what is your source of data for bechmarking analysis?
