Primavera P6 R15.1 Price/unit

Hi I am new in Primavera P6 version R15.1

When I was assiging cost to resources that I created, I couldn't find the Price/Unit column to assign the cost in, I just found Price/Unit4 and Price/Unit5 which they didn't work in further steps in the program.

How can fix this issue?

Resource assignment fields grayed out - Primavera P6 16.2

Hi guys, this is my first post here.

I am using Primavera P6 16.2 for my MSc thesis. Current problem that I have is that I cannot assign material resource for specific day of the activity, the fields are gray instead of white, as in few YouTube videos I watched - In this case, I want to assign Concrete for the last day of the activity, and Reinforcment for the first day of the activity. I've tried to change max Units, and tried to change something in Resource settings, but with no success.

EPS not showing correctly for new user

Hi,

I have certain admin rights where I can create / edit the EPS. One of my schedulers can only see the EPS nodes that she has her projects under. She has 3 nodes, however, they are not showing in the same order as in the EPS structure. Is this something to do with her layout or user preferences ? I have had this before and cant remember how to fix it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Store Period Performance

Dear All, 

I have a schedule in Primavera P6 that which the Periods were never stored. We update this schedule on a weekly basis, and now we are in week 135. We are having issues with some stakeholders. The progress curve, which uses de P6 data, has variations on the later weeks, due to the variations in units distribution for "in progress" activities.

The question is: What would happen if we start to use Store Period Performance from now on? Would we have to manually fill the past periods?

Calculate WBS Summary & LOE Dates WITHOUT ReScheduling

Hi

I have a need to add WBS Summary & LOE activities into a group of contractors' programmes to aide with reporting.

However, in order for these new activities to correctly take on the Start & Finish dates, it appears that I must reschedule the programmes, but this causes the activities within the contractors' programmes to be rescheduled. Therefore the report being created does not show the dates and progress as submitted by the contractors.

Is there a way to calculate the WBS Summary & LOE dates without rescheduling the rest of the programmes?
