Time Impact Analysis for Weather Delay

Hello,

I have an in-progress activity that was delayed one day by bad weather.

The Owner agrees that the weather stopped work and wants a Time Impact Analysis with a fragnet added that shows the forecast completion date pushed out by one day.

Do I break the activity in two and put a single weather day activity in the middle of the two activities?

Do I add the weather day with a FF relationship with the activity?

Note that the schedule is setup where inclement weather was accounted for in the calendars, not as an activity at the end of the schedule.

Primavera P6 Error : AVAA0-1519-5

Hi Everyone,

I am facing a unique Event Code AVAA0-1519-5. 

I face this event code when I try to delete any activity or relationship in my schedule. And sometimes, I am unable to change the layout.

In addition to this, I am unable to exit P6.

We have Citrix based Primavera P6.

I changed two PCs and P6 was efficiently working till I logged out and logged back in. I have restarted my PC several times but still facing the same issue again.

WBS is not sorting correctly in Activities

Time to ask a question to those who are smater than I am.

I have my WBS structure completed correctly as per below

When I switch to activities my WBS order is changed with construction activities at the top and general conditions/Preparatory work is at the bottom per below:

Identifying the source of Budgeted and Actual Non-Labor Units that do not have Resources assigned to them

Hello,

I am taking over maintaining a schedule and do not know how to find the source of some Nonlabor Units that are being expended.

There are budgeted and actualized non-labor units for activities such as "Execute Contract" and "Prefab Meeting", but I don't see anything under Resources, Resource IDs, Cost Accounts, or Cost Account IDs.

Baseline data linked to Activity ID

It seems that Activity baseline data is connected to "task_code" when it used to be connected to "task_id" in the past.  That used to mean that you could change what we see as the "Activity ID" and P6 still kept the relevant baseline data (dates etc).  Now, if you change an Activity ID, you lose the baseline data.  If you swap activitiy ID's between two different activities, the baseline data swaps too.  This doesn't seem right to me.  Is there a way to change this?
