I cannot have an answer from Oracle-Primavera people; I hope (I know) that PPlanners will be more reactive!
One customer of mine is willing to use P6 with 5 - 10 schedulers and 10 - 20 viewers (people who need to display P6 projects on their PCs, read-only).
Here's the challenge...
You have 10 activities in your schedule. They are all resource loading (not necessarily the same resources). They have a 'prioritisation' code allocated to determine the sequence of preference for resource levelling. There are no real inter-dependencies between them. They can all happen in any order, they could all happen at the same time, apart from 1 of those activities (let's call it Activity X). When Activity X happens, none of the other 9 can be planned to happen. How can this be achieved using resource loading?
I have been trying for the last hour to update a baseline schedule, but everytime I assign it to my current schedule the baseline dates are incorrect.
Even when I delete the baseline I still have a baseline start, finish etc. I've tried creating a new baseline and even that didn't work.
So I have an activity with Start Date 6th August, but a Baseline Start of 28th May. I want my baseline date to equal the current planned start date. There is no baseline currently assigned to the schedule but I still have a baseline start?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The project I am working on has been bogged down during preconstruction and the Owner has directed us to add resubmittal activities for each submittal that had a revision. Unfortunately, that is more or less all of them, and the previous schedulers were not adding these activities.
Below are some challenges I am considering, and I appreciate any comments or opinions:
1) Activity Type
The Owner has requested that I add a milestone for each resubmit and a milestone for each returned submittal.

Hi - I am unable to import Microsoft Project (XML) to P6. There is an article on Oracle Support about it.

I have hammock activity Boundary wall works with no budgeted labor units assigned to that activity.
But after updating programme this activity showing Planned Value labor Units and Earned Value Labor Units 4312 & 5778. Please advise why it showing these units automatically
After i export this programme to another users, tse units/values are not seen. Please advise.

I require to show the project progress in terms of duration % complete but the issue is that the assigned baseline duration % complete doesn't auto update. I now am updating actuals on baseline seperately to get the data. Is there a way wherein I can represent both the baseline Duration % complete and current duration % complete together in the same prog?
